🔵 What is a Youth Engagement Team (YET) and what do they do?
A YET is made up of a mixture of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers and Neighbourhood Investigation Officers. Their key role is to build better relationships with children and young people, provide crime prevention advice and to find out what issues matter most to them.
They do this in the following ways:ℹ️
▪️Deliver educational inputs into schools ▪️support them to make informed choices for their futures.
Thank you from Glossop YET to all of the schools mentioned above for their co-operation and agreement in allowing our attendance to complete our visits and inputs with some of their pupils this week.
Once again a very well done and a big thank you also to all of the young people who engaged with Glossop YET this week - as always they are a credit to each of their schools. .
